The Maison de la photographie de Marrakech - Morocco
Located in Marrakech, in the heart of the medina. It opened its doors in April 2009 and brings together a photographic collection that extends from the 1870s to the 1950s.
The photographic collection of the Maison de la photographie is made up of more than 10,000 old photographs, from the period 1870 to 19501. It highlights the origins of photography in Morocco, by presenting, among other things, the first photographers who installed, such as George Washington Wilson, A. Cavilla and Marcelin Flandrin.
